Two days, we have not been going west of town as there were reported two mother polar bears with thir cubs, feeding on a dead walrus.
Today we are checkling the situation by boat, to know if we can count birds near Brandal tomorrow. At first it is difficult to find,
but we discover the dead walrus on the beach as if it is sleeping. No polar bears and no sign of a food frenzy.|
On the way back, Margje makes this picture of a puffin feeding on the border of the fresh redish coloured river water and the clear ocean water front.
