AWIPEV team 2025-2026 | 10 June 2025 |
The German-French consortium in Ny-Ålesund is called AWIPEV, a combination of the two institution AWI and IPEV. They have a young team of three people: Auriane Herbaut (station leader), Louis Grauwin (observatory engineer) and Marek Levray (logistics engineer). The Netherlands Polar Program has a deal with AWIPEV that they provide us with safety material (rifle, flare, radio, inreach) and a boat (with survival suits). The material is always first class. Thank you team, you are doing a great job.
