| In Ny-Ålesund there is a special hut for the Kings Bay Veteranklubb. These are people who worked for Kings Bay Kull Kompagnie AS while this town was a coal mining town and their offspring. In KingsBay office I found a nice booklet about their historie. The front cover is shown to the left. When there are people in town, they open a kiosk in front of the shop and sell wafels, coffee and knitting wear. Earlier posts about the club:
