bears eating nest 224

4 July 2025

Vandaag kwam de moeder beer met twee grote jongen weer langs en bezocht het eiland Prins Heinrich gelegen ten oosten van het dorp. Sinds 9 juni is het de twaalfde dag dat er een volwassen ijsbeer is waargenomen in het fjord. Het is de derde ijsbeerdag sinds 9 juni voor deze ijsbeer. Karein maakte onderstaande foto's door een telescoop.

De berenfamilie klimt naar boven in de richting van nest 224.



Het nest 224 ligt net achter een richel, maar hier smult het hele gezin. Het was een nest met twee ganzen met een gps-halsband.
