Monitoring birds during construction of a radio telescope
10 September 2021
The final publication of our study on birds to monitor potential negative effects during the construction of a radio telescope. This telescope was planned in an area 1500 meter outside Ny-Ålesund. A new road needed to be constructed and the building took place at an relatively undisturbed site. We studied the changes with a team of four people: Børge Moe was the project leader and Svein Arna Hansen, Geir Wing Gabrielsen and Maarten Loonen participated. There have been annual reports in
2018. All reports are in Norwegian.|
